Yampatika has a long tradition of volunteers and is eager to welcome OTHG members to join in.  This winter, Yampatika offers seven different tours, including a naturalist ski tour on the mountain, a snowshoe hike to the Uranian Mine,  and snowshoe tours on Emerald Mountain on the full moon..

Volunteer training is December 3  and 4.

If you would like to train to lead these hikes or participate as a program host visit the Yampatika website at https://www.yampatika.org/get-involved/volunteer/ and complete an “interest form” at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe30aQmf6LrqSe9jmM75Y4M03lqytU02ZpDUTgbM4Oj5SVRgQ/viewform

The Over the Hill Gang will be staffing the kettles and ringing the bells during the annual Routt County United Way fundraising event. We will be covering both doors, at City Market, on Friday, December 20. Put on your favorite holiday attire and spend an hour greeting neighbors and visitors as we raise funds to support organizations working on Early Childhood Education, Youth Success, Financial Stability and Health & Crisis Services.

The Over the Hill Gang provides chances for members to volunteer, together, in and around Steamboat Springs. This gives us all a chance to give to the community while having fun together.

Are you involved with a non-profit organization that could use a group of volunteers? Please email web@ssothg.org with the particulars, including the organization, the type of volunteer activities and potential dates. We can put your event on the OTHG calendar and recruit volunteers!
